Lucasta Miller is a British critic, biographer and editor. She is the author of The Brontë Myth and L.E.L.: The Lost Life and Scandalous Death of Letitia Elizabeth Landon, the celebrated ‘female Byron’. Her articles have appeared in The GuardianThe Economist and The Independent, among others. A former visiting scholar and fellow at Oxford University, she has spoken at many conferences and literary festivals, while her broadcasts include the BBC and NPR.
